Founder and principal Florence Chamberlin* has more than 19-years of experience as an immigration law practitioner. She is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar since admission in 1997.

Ms. Chamberlin is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and received her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She has practiced immigration law exclusively and has represented numerous clients in proceedings before the immigration courts and the Department of Homeland Security as well as U.S. Consulates around the globe.

The Chamberlin Immigration Law Firm is located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina although our clients are located throughout the United States and abroad. The firm was formerly based in Miami, Florida.

Ms. Chamberlin is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association (AILA) and has chaired various committees of the South Florida AILA Chapter. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Immigration Council in Washington, DC. and the past chair of their Development & Fundraising Committee. She is active in her community and serves on the Durham Nativity School’s Board of Trustees and the Development Committee of Uniting, NC.

*Ms. Chamberlin is licensed only in the State of Florida but because immigration law is federal, she may represent clients throughout the United States and abroad.
